The result of the Bray Runners 2017 Race League was confirmed earlier this week. 3 athletes finished level on points, Jackie O'Neill, Elaine Casey and Paul Allen. The rules state that in the event of a tie the athlete with the most Pbs in their 6 counting races shall be declared the winner. Jackie had 5pbs in her 6 counting races, Elaine had 4 and Paul had 3. Jackie O'Neill is therefore declared the winner of our 2017 Race League, Elaine 2nd and Paul is 3rd. Sandra Brady was 4th.
Congratulations to Jackie and well done to all who took part.
Well done to Elaine Casey who took part in the Kildare Half Marathon, which took place in Donadea Forest Park yesterday, 13th Jan. Despite the bad weather on the day Elaine ran a fine 2.02.26.
