Virtual Awards Night 2020

We had our 'virtual' awards night on the evening of 29th May. Congratulations to all the winners' Joe Kelly, Darren Cullen, Jean O'Kennedy, Dominic Horan, Sharon Ryan, Peter Doran, Orla Phillips and athlete of the year Michael Knight. Well done also to our league winners Sharon Ryan, Lee Borland and Paul Allen. On the night there was also recognition for services to the club for Richard Kavanagh and Cyril Smyth. Hope to see you you all in person again soon.

Club Virtual 5K proves a great success....

We asked our members (senior master and juvenile) to take part in a gentle virtual 5k run on Sunday 19th April at 11am.

'Entry fee' was a suggested €10 and all funds raised this way go to Bray Meals on Wheels who continue to deliver meals to our vulnerable citizens at this time.

The response was simply fabulous as can be seen in the pictures below. Thanks to all who walked, jogged, ran and donated.

There will be a EUR10 "entry fee" and this will be donated to Bray Meals on Wheels, a voluntary orgainisation, who continue to deliver meals to the vulnerable in this difficult time. Payment details to follow.

***COVID-19***

The club continues to closely monitor the coronavirus outbreak. The health and safety of our members and their families is our primary concern as well as all vulnerable members in the wider community.

The committee of Bray Runners AC is guided by AAI recommendations and therefore has cancelled all official training sessions until further notice.

Sessions, including recommended paces and recoveries, will be posted and you are advised to keep your fitness up!

We will update this policy as information enters the public domain.
