Club Virtual 5K proves a great success....
We asked our members (senior master and juvenile) to take part in a gentle virtual 5k run on Sunday 19th April at 11am.
'Entry fee' was a suggested €10 and all funds raised this way go to Bray Meals on Wheels who continue to deliver meals to our vulnerable citizens at this time.
The response was simply fabulous as can be seen in the pictures below. Thanks to all who walked, jogged, ran and donated.

Duleek 5K 2020
We had a number of athletes take part in the Duleek 5k on 29th February 2020. Great performances from all despite the terrible weather conditions. Drew Donohoe, running his first race other than parkruns, ran a fine 19.19 to finish 18th overall and 3rd Junior. (Drew ran 19.29 in the Tymon parkrun just 3hours earlier thinking Duleek would be cancelled).
Neil Felton continued to show great early season form, running 19.28, a new Pb and first time under 20minutes. Fine running also from John Ashworth 21.54, Mary Hayde 22.01 and Jean O'Kennedy 22.25 who was 3rd 0/50. Siobhan Butler ran 23.01 and was 4th 0/50, Tara Mullen smashed her Pb in running 26.24 and Mary O'Connor had a fine run, recording a time of 27.45.
Well done also to our good friends Joanne Carey who ran 21.44, her best 5k in a while and good to see Grainne Butler, 23.03, back racing again. Well done to all, great times in extremely tough conditions.
REMINDER: All members are asked to attend, if possible, meeting re proposed 5k, which will be held in St Annes Resource Centre on Thursday next, 5th Feb at 8pm.
