Kicks off at 11 00 with junior races, but we need to be there before that to set up the course and organise stewards etc.
Need at least a dozen stewards, so if not running please come along and help, partners and friends are very welcome. Would, ON ARRIVAL, all male athletes check in with Sean, and female athletes check in with Richard. This will ensure the smooth running of registration, confirmation of teams etc. This year we look to have not only our strongest teams in recent years but also the largest numbers competing for many a year. 4 races in all, with the possibility of future European champions taking part.
CHRISTMAS MORNING RUN @ 9 30 sharp

Tonight, 6th Dec, we had our annual club H/Cap race. Unfortunately the weather turned nasty, with rain and a strong wind making it a very difficult night for running. The bad weather seems to have kept some from racing but we still had a good turnout for the event. We had an equally good turnout of helpers, Dermot on the leadout bike, Sean, Bernard, Mark, Dolores and Noelle at the start, finish and helping with the post race refreshments and Richard Hourahan out on the course making sure nobody took a wrong turn. Thanks to all who brought mince pies, biscuits and sandwiches and to Ciara and Denise for supplying the home baking. Some excellent times were recorded, Mary Hourahan 32.02 over 2 minutes off her pb, Lorraine O,Rourke 31.28, 1.28 off her pb and the ever improving Siobhan Butler also lowering her pb to 22.30.
