On Saturday last, 22nd Feb., the Wicklow Hospice Half Marathon was held in Rathdrum. The mens race was won by John Frazer, Crusaders, in a time of 72.10, Paula Prendergast, won the womens race in 85.13. Dominic Horan continued his preparation for London, with a 5th place finish in 81.36, closely followed by Martin Francis, 12th place, in 84.55. Full results can be found on the link below,

The National Intermediate and Masters Cross Country was held in Dunboyne on Sunday 23rd Feb., Gary Condon finished in a very creditable 34th place in a time of 26.17 in the 8k Masters race..
The Operation Transformation 5k took place in the Phoenix Park on Saturday last, Mary Hourihan (making a great return after her recent injury), Lorraine O'Rourke, Ana Molina and Elaine Nuzun were among those taking part. Awaiting confirmation of times. Well done to all who took part.

Ballycotton Predictor Competition. As in previous years we will be having a time predictor competition in conjunction with the Ballycotton 10. Round 1 of the 2014 Fit4life League took place in Greystones on Thursday 6th Feb. It is a 2mile event, and first athlete home was Gary Condon in a great time of 10mins 50 sec. Colm O'hEigeartaig was 2nd senior athlete in an impressive 12.10. Charlotte Stevens, 14.42, Pb, and 2nd O/50, Dolores Gilliland, 15.19, Pb, and 3rd O/50 and Emer Hynes 16.14 completed the Bray Runners lineout.

Our Club was founded in 1983 primarily as a marathon running club, however over the years we have introduced a juvenile section and cover a wide range of athletic disciplines.
