Upcoming Wicklow & Leinster Track & Field Championships

The outdoor Track & Field season is fast approaching and the Club has decided to make the Wicklow Championships (8 & 9 May in Greystones) and the Leinster Championships (13 & 14 June in Tullamore) the priority events for this upcoming outdoor season.
To this end, we will be focusing our training, on both Tuesdays and Fridays to ensure our Athletes are fully prepared for their events. At this stage, athletes should be considering what events they intend to participate in and let us know by email or what’s app so we can put a training structure together to prepare our athletes properly in advance of these competitions. For the Wicklow Championships we would like all our eligible athletes to participate in at least one event, be that on the track or in the field. After the Wicklow Championships, the coaches will discuss with the athletes if the Leinster championships are an option.

We would like all our Athletes to make an effort to get to the Friday track session every week,or at least every other week, in the coming weeks so as to prepare adequately for these competitions.
