BRAY RUNNERS LEAGUE

This initiative is all about participation, inclusion and above all fun, not to mention maybe getting people to consider running races they might not otherwise thought of doing! There are a variety of races  ranging from Parkruns, to 10ks, Paced Mile, Track and Field and cross country so plenty of choice for everyone.

LEAGUE RULES

A minimum of 6 races must be completed, with an official time, to be eligible for a prize.

You can enter as many of the races as you wish but scores will be based on the 6 races in which the highest points are scored. A minimum of 4 races must be selected from the list of races as detailed in the Bray Runners Racing League 2018. BRAY RUNNERS RACING LEAGUE 2018 LIST of RACES Up to 2 races can be selected from the following list as either one or two of the 6 races:

  • ANY ONE AAI approved 10 Mile Road Race OR
  • ANY ONE AAI approved Half Marathon OR
  • ANY ONE AAI approved Marathon OR
  • Up to two Track and Field events

For the avoidance of doubt it is possible to select all races from the Bray Runners Racing League 2018 list of races 5 Points for finishing a race; 5 Bonus Points for competing in any of the following events:

  • National 10K (Great Ireland Run)
  • Leinster 10 Mile (Battle of Clontarf)
  • Wicklow 5K Road Championships
  • Leinster Masters Road Race
  • Frank Duffy 10 Mile
  • Wicklow Novice Cross Country
  • Jingle Bells 5K

The winner will be the person with the highest score over their best 6 qualifying races.  In the event of a tie the person with the highest score from PBs will be declared the winner. Results from races must be submitted the evening of the race or if results are delayed as soon as official results are available to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The Committee reserves the right to amend the races in the League, if necessary, as a number of the selected races have yet to be confirmed. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places which will be awarded at the Annual Awards Night.

Please consider taking part in the League it should make for great fun and provide a little competition!
