Juvenile Weekly Update.
1st ever Bray junior parkrun this Sunday!
I'm very excited to say that the first-ever Bray junior parkrun is taking place thisin the People's Park on the Lower Dargle Road in Bray. This is a weekly, free timed 2k run for all aged 4 -14. Bray Runners A.C. is hosting this, so it would be great to see a regular turnout from our juvenile members as a way to enjoy athletics and raise awareness of the club in the local area.
Obviously, it should only be an occasional and fun training run for our younger members. Our more experienced juveniles may "race" it from time to time, but it is important to have fun and not overdo it! It is entirely approporate to just jog around and have a chat most weeks you go. Of course, we certainly welcome parents to come along and support and help out for the half an hour whenever possible. Richard H.
