We had a number of athletes take part in the VHI Women's Mini Marathon on Monday last the 1st June. The results we have to hand are, Suzanne Foot 36th in 41.45, Helen Barry 37th in 41.47 and Ashling Smith 40th in 42.24. Georgina Devlin 49.28, Emer Hynes 50.22, Andrea Murphy 50.28, Noelle Thorpe 51.05 and Dolores Gilliland 52.43, all enjoyed their day out in the wind and rain. Maria McCambridge was 1st athlete home in 34.03.
Our Club was founded in 1983 primarily as a marathon running club, however over the years we have introduced a juvenile section and cover a wide range of athletic disciplines.
