Pat McCourt was a great supporter of the Simon charity and was the encouraging commentator on the day. Frank Greally will be doing the honours this year and Frank has donated a trophy for this years Fastest Runner and it will be known as the Pat McCourt trophy, so we can keep Pat's name alive and associated with the race he held so dear. Our Club was founded in 1983 primarily as a marathon running club, however over the years we have introduced a juvenile section and cover a wide range of athletic disciplines.
