Training Notes.
Training continues throughout the summer at the usual times. Thursday training continues to be well attended, although numbers generally drop off during the holiday months. Last night we had 3 new athletes present, Marcus, John and Angela. We hope they enjoyed the evening and will return next week, when we arrange a short information meeting (10 minutes) for potential new members, immediately after training.
We hope to revive our Saturday morning Long Run, starting this coming Saturday, 28th June. We will be starting in ASHFORD Village at 9am and running for 90 minutes, at just under 8 minutes per mile. Distance will gradually increase over the coming weeks. We will have an opt out option at 60 minutes. Our new faces from Thursday very welcome.
